The Lord's church was established in Acts 2 when the words of the inspired apostles planted the seed of God's Word in honest hearts. Individual congregations sprang up all over the then known world (Col 1:6). Several decades ago, the same seed was planted in hearts in the Houston area and members of the Lords church were the result. Some decided to meet at Spring Branch, but later moved to where we meet today. If we leave Christ's teachings, we cease to be part of the body of believers and are nothing more than reprobates 2Ti 3:8.

It is our desire to be the church you can read about in the New Testament, the one purchased by the blood of Christ Act 20:28, the body of Christ 1Co 12:27.
