"when you come together"

Our mission is to save souls which are in more danger than lives. Mat 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

The cure for the soul is well tested and effective when applied according to scripture. James 5:20 consider this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover over a multitude of sins. 

Compare two enemies - sin and a small virus. Either can do damage, but one affects the soul, the other affects only the body.  The spiritual threat is much greater than the physical threat, yet most people ignore the former.

The medical community is diligent in preparing to fight a virus, while we must completely arm ourselves for the battle against Satan. This takes preparation.  Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

The job of Christ's body, the congregation is to save souls. We should follow Thessalonica's example. 1Th 1:8 For not only did the message of the Lord ring out from you to Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone out to every place, so that we have no need to say anything more.

Don't forget to pray as our Lord taught. Luk 18:1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,

We come together as commanded for strength against the enemy. Ecc 4:12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Heb 10:25  not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

The problems are identified and real, Mat 24:12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 

The fields are white unto harvest. John 4:35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!
